El 23, 24 y 26 de mayo dos equipos de seniors del Debate Club del San Agustín participaron en una competencia, en la Universidad de Palermo, en la que debatieron en inglés con otros equipos de 6 colegios de CABA.
Fueron 3 días de adrenalina en los cuales los alumnos expresaron sus puntos de vista, escucharon ideas opuestas a las de ellos y debatieron respetuosamente.
Hubo instancias reñidas pero finalmente el jueves 26 lograron la victoria llevándose la copa.
En la ceremonia de premiación, 10 alumnos fueron reconocidos por su desempeño individual, y de estos, 4 fueron del San Agustín.
Agradecemos a la profesora Julieta Martín Grondona, a cargo del Debate Club del colegio y felicitamos a Anselmo Torres, Catalina Nimo, Cesar Ruarte, Clara Ferrario, Olivia Salim y Victoria Álvarez por su dedicación, entusiasmo y compromiso, y por supuesto, por haber traído el premio máximo al San Agustín.

On May 23rd, 24th and 26th, two senior teams from San Agustín Debate Club took part in a competition at Universidad de Palermo, in which they debated in English with other senior teams from six CABA schools.
This 3-day competition was full of adrenaline. Students expressed their points of view, listened to ideas opposed to theirs and debated respectfully.
There were disputed instances but finally, on Thursday 26th they achieved victory and took the trophy home.
At the Awards Ceremony, ten students were recognised for their individual performance. Four of them are our students at San Agustín.
We thank Prof. Julieta Martín Grondona, who is in charge of the school Debate Club, and we congratulate Anselmo Torres, Catalina Nimo, Cesar Ruarte, Clara Ferrario, Olivia Salim y Victoria Álvarez on their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment, and of course, for bringing the highest award to our school.
